Hopefully it can, TP have already put out a bunch of good games so I'm sure this one will be worth playing too.
I'd encourage 'core gamers' to just.. have another think about Kinect. Already 4 big 360 exclusives for next year use it, and that looks like the trend going forward.
Are they aware Game have been doing this with XBLA games for some weeks now? Anyway, yeah, it's a pointless practice.
It was due in September, but could do with being pushed back a bit to ease the onslaught of games that month.
Dozen or so high quality exclusives on XBLA but I'm sure those don't count somehow.
So Leedmees, Rise of Nightmares and Gunstringer all in September? MS need to sort their forward planning out..
Air Band for Kinect Fun Labs sounds interesting, hadn't heard of that before.
"The latest Gadget, “Air Band,” introduces new Augmented Reality technology to Kinect and places you on stage as the star of your living room with a guitar, drums or keyboard. “Air Band” will be unveiled at gamescom and available in Kinect Fun Labs on August 22, 2011."
Will try it next Monday!
Yeah forget modern technology, it's so much easier to just do cheapo 2d platformers in the style of 20 years ago!
We're assuming they'll be good based on the pedigree of the teams making them.
Twisted Pixel have made solid games all gen, with Gunstringer taken from what was the best part of Comic Jumper.
Rise of Nightmares is from Sega's House of the Dead Team, no doubts it'll be great.
Steel Battalion and Project Draco - the two franchises are about as hardcore as it gets. The new games are by From and Grounding, which is the for...
Cool, must remember to watch this.
I fixed mine to the top of the TV with some blu-tack..
What an awesome bonus! Really looking forward to this one.
That's a cool thing. Not a big enough fan of the franchise to buy it, but I might still grab the game.
In terms of number alone there's probably an equal amount of exclusives on each system, or near abouts.
Also, I believe the article the other day mentioned first party exclusives specifically, not the same thing as this one is talking about - although, does it matter?
Also also, why do people say 360 has no 2011 exclusives except the XBLA ones and except the Kinect ones? Why shouldn't those count?
Too acquainted with the past indeed - lucky thing we have Playdead making 2d side-scrollers with black and white visuals.
Nah, they're probably just satisfied that at this point in the console cycle they've put out enough of them, hence mostly sequels in 2011 - both on 360 and PS3, it's worth noting.
Already got it for the very exciting stuff coming out of Japan, but I'll definitely have a look at the new Fable as well.
I thought Sony were too, with causal games like Heavy Rain, Little Big Planet, Flower, SingStar etc.
Those are some seriously challenging games..
Damn,I misread that as "hard NOT to like these days" - which I actually think is the case.
Why? Because there are a lot of developers I personally think very highly of working on games for it.
Whether those games live up to their billing remains to be seen, of course.
Wouldn't be N4G without a random, madcap comparison between two unrelated games!
Thinking about buying this tomorrow afternoon with a Kinect - any suggestions for another Kinect game to go with it? (...)
Kick - punch - it's all in the mind..
